checking in

Today I feel very lucky after watching the poor people of New Orleans who have lost their homes and jobs and some even their families. My heart goes out to them and I pray that the waters recede and one day they can go home. We have friends who live there and they have to move to Baton Rouge because their area was flooded. This weekend we are going to a wedding on Long Island for Vicky and Brian, they are so cute, and they will be moving to California after the wedding. We will miss them for sure! All the kids are back at college and I am redoing my kitchen! It will be a big project!
